Why Tunisia Needs More Shippers
Tunisia has the talent. What we need is more people who actually ship.
Every time I talk to another Tunisian developer or student, I hear the same thing: good ideas, great potential, but projects that never see the light of day. We have the skills — our engineers work at top companies globally. But at home, the startup ecosystem is still finding its footing.
The gap
There's a gap between having an idea and shipping a product. It's the gap between theory and practice. And it's the gap I want to help close.
Shipping means:
- Putting a product in front of real users
- Getting feedback (even when it stings)
- Iterating until it works
- Being okay with "embarrassingly minimal" v1
Why it matters
When more Tunisians ship products:
- We build a portfolio of local solutions to local problems
- We create a culture of building, not just consuming
- We show the next generation that it's possible
- We contribute to the global tech conversation from Tunisia
My commitment
Every product I ship will be:
- Built in the open
- Solving a real problem (ideally local)
- A learning experience I document and share
This site is v1. More coming.
If you're a Tunisian builder, student, or dreamer — let's connect. The ecosystem grows when we build together.
